Jennifer Lawrence Open Up Everything (Including Cloths) For Red Sparrow

Another pair of ingredients that do not quite come together in the overall proposal is the romance they seem to want to support most of the motivations of the characters - and that is the chemistry between Lawrence and his counterpart of the CIA, played by the Australian Joel Edgerton (Exodus: Gods and Kings), is practically nonexistent; as well as the truculent resolution that more than surprising, emphasizes the artificiality of the mechanism of a production that wastes the implications of the political discourse inherent in the situation that arises and that never manages to trigger the notes of eroticism.

So, Red Sparrow, which had some locations in Budapest and Dunaújváros in Hungary and unnecessarily exceeds the two hours, comes as a barely decent attempt to update the stories of espionage, but that's all and nothing else.
